An often ignored but often useful place to find out about all the strange surfboard trips that Fineline Surfboards, Brian Hilbers and Kirk Putnam are up to.

Hull Love for the North County
These boards are all heading to Mitch's North in Solana Beach 6'6 MicroDirt, 5'7 P-38, 6'10 Wild Thing
Two MP's, 6'3 and 6'6. A couple of GeeBees: a 5'9 and a 5"11
Wild Thing. One of Steve K's better templates; I prefer it to Jaws- it steers better. Average rocker and rail gives these guys a B- to B+ viciousness rating in the displacement hull world- meaning they like some juice to the wave and respond if they get it. I also like it being a tad narrower- specs on benchmark 6'9 (my fave) is 18 1/8 nose, 21 7/8, 14 3/4, usually around 2 3/4 thick, but down to 2 3/8 if I have my hate on for my fellow man. H3K
Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me a bit more about the wild thing?
ReplyDeleteThe best lawn decor I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteDitto on HULLZ "Wild Thing" question. Thanks!
